Educational Qualification Bachelors Degree or Polytechnic Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Government recognized or accredited University/Institute.
Minimum Experience
  • 5 Years for Degree and 7 Years for Diploma in Railway / Metro Rail Track, Bridges, Viaduct, Buildings in supervisory category. 
  • The experience of working for/with Major Organizations undertaking Construction / Maintenance of Track / Bridges / Viaducts / Buildings / Structures in Railway /Metro Rail will also be considered. 
  • The experience certificate of working for Major Organization should clearly indicate the nature of experience covering Construction / Maintenance of Track / Bridges / Viaducts / Buildings/Structures. 
  • The experience of working in Track will be preferred. 
  • The deserving candidates having minimum experience of two (2) years as Manager or Assistant Manager or equivalent position in Railways / Metro Railways can also be considered.

  1. In case MMRDA is unable to find suitable candidates for the post of Senior Section Engineer, the post can be downgraded or reduce to Section Engineer for which the candidates should have minimum 2 years of relevant work experience discipline/areas mentioned above, particular at a  supervisory capacity. Other pre-requisites and requirements to remain unchanged. The individuals fulfilling and attain the above-mentioned criteria and experience requirements may also apply.
  2. An incumbent from a government agency or equivalent private institution retired SSE or equivalent in the capacity of Railway/ Metro Railway fulfilling the above experience may also apply. However, their pay will be fixed based on the last pay drawn in the above-given pay scale.
